Verdi, the T-rex, lives at Havenfield, Grady and Edaline's animal preserve. She is called Havenfield's their permanent resident due to her stubbornness to change. In book one, Sophie realized that Verdi was in pain and was able to untangle her emotions, similar to what she does with Silveny, the female alicorn. Verdi was also the one that attacked the orges when they attacked Lady Cadence, and Sophie's adoptive parents in Lodestar.
